Continuity

Your number stays yours — for as long as you want it

For many customers, a phone number is the recovery key to everything else. So we treat it like an asset — not a subscription that silently disappears.

  • 30 days to renew
  • Never recycled directly
  • Price locked

Renewal

What happens around your renewal date

Every step is announced on the channels you choose — Telegram, email, XMPP, Matrix or webhook.

  1. D−14 → D−1

    Reminders

Each with a pay link that works without signing in.

  2. Day 0

    Renewal

Automatic from your balance if you switch it on, number by number.

  3. Days 1–7

    Grace period

Everything still arrives. Only outgoing calls and texts pause.

  4. Until day 30

    Still reserved

Renew at the normal price. No reactivation fee, ever.

  5. After day 30

    Quarantine

Released into quarantine — never straight to someone else.

Guarantees

Four promises, written into our terms

Each one links to the clause that commits us to it.

  • SIM-swap lock

Transfers and port-outs need your PIN and 2FA. Support can’t move a number for anyone.

    Terms, section 7
  • Price lock

The price you rent at is the price you renew at, for as long as you keep the number.

    Terms, section 6
  • 72-hour swap

If a number doesn’t work for what you bought it for, we replace it free within 72 hours.

    Refund policy
  • Replaced, not lost

If a carrier withdraws a number, you get an equivalent one and the unused time back.

Why it matters

A recycled number is a security hole

When a provider hands a lapsed number to the next customer, the new owner receives the old owner’s login codes. It’s one of the most common ways accounts get taken over — and why we never recycle a number directly.

For a number that protects your accounts

  • Choose a mobile number — a real carrier line, accepted by more services
  • Rent it for 24 months with the vault plan — $4.90/mo, 30% off
  • Switch automatic renewal on and keep a balance
  • Get reminders on two different channels
  • Add two sign-in methods to your account

Questions

Continuity questions

All questions & answers

What if I forget to renew?

Nothing is lost straight away. For 7 days everything still arrives and only outgoing calls and texts pause. Then the number stays reserved for you until day 30, renewable at the normal price with no reactivation fee.

Could my number be given to someone else?

Not while you keep renewing it, and not straight after it lapses: after day 30 it goes through a quarantine period before anyone else can rent it — the same protection every number on Numonym gets.

Can someone talk support into moving my number?

No. Support has no procedure to transfer or port a number. Only you can start a transfer or a port-out, and both require your PIN and your two-factor authentication.

Will my price go up when I renew?

No. The price you pay when you rent a number is the price you renew at, for as long as you keep it.

What happens if a carrier withdraws my number?

It’s rare, but it happens. We switch you to an equivalent number in the same country, credit the unused rental time to your balance and alert you on every channel so you can update your accounts.

A number you can build on

Mobile numbers from $4.90/month on the 24-month vault, plus a one-time $15 activation.
